This movie has
elements that art should have: it shows you, it does not seek to prove an absolute point,
it conveys. For me, being able to identify myself with 3 German guys and share their feeling of alienation of the modern world is a breath of fresh
air.
I think the
message is this: al long as young people feel the need to rebel against the mediocrity
imposed by the systems created by previous generations, the continuity of the
world is assured.
"Good
ideas are those that survive," say the protagonists.
Talking
about the film, it has a nice phase from the beginning till the end without
having the audience attention wane. The script is solid; the narrative image has
a powerful sense of impact.
The
conversations that flow between the four characters, moralistic, idealistic and
at times humorous, try to show a radiography of the past and the present, of
good and evil, of right and wrong and moral and immoral.
A
revolutionary analysis of our time, a breath of fresh air, a road with a
different goal. Different, yes, different... this may be the adjective that
best describes this modest production. Where the actors, without showing off, manage to transmit a feeling that every young person should hold: the
desire for improvement.
The purpose
of "The Edukators" is to spread the need for a romantic point of view, in line with those kind of movies that generate so much trepidation in the audience. Never intended to be a blockbuster, as demonstrated by the implementation: shot with a handheld camera
and all natural lighting, but instead looking forward to shake that hidden
and passive conscience in our generation.
Without much real depth
in the ideas discussed, this film still exposes them clearly, ideas and
feelings of a society that never should be deceived by a false reality,
full of opulence and sick excesses.
